The Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's) Regimental Museum

Located within the historic Bay Street Armoury in Victoria, British Columbia, our museum preserves and displays the proud heritage of The Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's) — the largest reserve infantry unit in Western Canada.

Opened in May 1980 by Princess Alexandra, the museum is accredited by the Canadian Forces and features artifacts, photographs, and memorabilia spanning from the regiment's earliest days to its participation in contemporary peacekeeping and NATO operations.

Whether you're a military history enthusiast, a family member of those who served, or simply curious about Victoria's rich military heritage, our museum offers a fascinating journey through more than a century of service.

The Bay Street Armoury

The museum is housed within the Bay Street Armoury, a significant heritage building in Victoria's military history. Opened in 1915, the armoury has served as the headquarters of The Canadian Scottish Regiment for over a century.

The building itself is an architectural landmark, featuring classical military design elements that reflect the era of its construction. It continues to serve as an active military facility while also preserving and showcasing our regimental heritage.
